When Stacy Reid met the love of her life, Matt, her life blossomed in more ways than one. Founder of TINte Cosmetics, Stacy Reid was encouraged by her husband to follow her dreams of starting her own makeup line. In 2004 the couple launched the brand and had massive success, receiving 25 accounts in a span of 3 days. Were a growing brand. Any little step on the way to success is very exciting, Stacy said. This DreamCatcher definitely knew how to turn her childhood dream into her adult dream come true.

What inspired you to start TINte Cosmetics?

The inspiration behind TINte Cosmetics was that I could never find a lip gloss that could moisturize & heal my lips, and tasted good. It was at this point that I realized I had to create a lip gloss that nourished my lips, tasted great and looked beautiful. From this need TINtes Flavored lip glosses enriched with Shea Butter were created. Plus my very first lip gloss came in a similar vintage slider tin. This nostalgic feeling from my childhood made me want to recreate sweet memories for the sophisticated women of today.

What is one dream youre working to accomplish?

One dream Im working to accomplish is to continue to give women the opportunity to start their own beauty business by sharing and selling TINte Cosmetics to their family and friends. Our new Beauty Insider opportunity is inspiring women to pursue their own entrepreneurial dreams by becoming an Independent Beauty Consultant.

What has been your biggest challenge so far? How did you overcome it?

My biggest challenge is accepting that your plan may change. Being open to that change can bring bigger and better opportunities your way that you never imagined.

How do you stay confident in yourself and have the mentality to never give up when obstacles arise?

I continue to focus on the goal and not to get distracted by the daily ups & downs and I never stop believing in my idea and my dream.

What was the best advice youve been given?

Put passion in everything you do.

What is your favorite quote and why?

Its a random quote I came across on Pinterest but really liked it. She believed she could, so she did. It just validates that if you have a dream and believe in yourself it can make the impossible seem possible.

What advice would you give to other DreamCatchers?

Dont listen to people who will try to distract you from your goals because they seem to hard to accomplish. If you believe in yourself and are willing to work hard you can achieve your dreams! No matter how many people say youre crazy, believe in your vision and NEVER, ever give up!

Whats your definition of perfect?

Perfect was my husband and I seeing our unborn baby for very first time on the sonogram. We saw it moving and instantly fell in love! It is a perfect moment in my life.
